Crops and Camo

I don’t own a Céline pouch or Prada shoes, but that doesn’t mean a girl can’t pretend! Introducing my new style posts! I’m gonna go all Roger Rabbit on you and mix my real wardrobe with illustrations of pieces I’m dreaming about. For example, this stunning Valentino Rockstud tote. In my world, nothing makes more sense together than bright red and camo. Do you agree? And we all know that crop tops aren’t going anywhere, so get with it.

Fall in Full Bloom

I’m focused, married and ready to blog, guys! I wish I could say that my lack of outfit posts was because I was saving all my pennies for the wedding, but I can’t. Zara got the best of me….as she always does in the summer. I wore this dress to a wedding back in June and now I’m dying to wear it again! Every morning I think about showcasing this little number at work, but this dress calls for a special occasion!

Not only am I loving floral, but paired with leather makes me swoon. Bomber, motorcycle, varsity - anything manly - makes a dainty look daring. I also re-purposed my wedding day clutch to glam it up.

Now, can someone give me an excuse to wear this again? Is a wedding in September with all the same people attending too soon? I know the answer :(

Dress and Shoes from Zara, Jacket from Comptoir des Cotonniers, Clutch from Nordstroms.

Bridal Banter

I promised that I wouldn’t turn this blog into wedding vomit, but I’m 90 days out from the big day and I can’t help it! My mind is consumed with all things wedding. I don’t want to ignore ClaraMaeJames any longer so I must concede and share the peaks and valleys of this journey…starting with Bridal Shower Outfit Drama!

Do I wear white? Do I not wear white? Long? Short? Hippy? Chic? What would Jessica Alba wear? This is what runs through my mind every night as I comb the Internet for my bridal shower dress. My top picks are above, but I need help. Pretty please?! Enter your fave in the comments and I’ll come up with a way to reward you all for your help. #swear
