Casual December Days

ClaraMaeJamesRedHookFashion_1.jpg

These past few days have been so relaxing. December is probably the best month ever - you basically work for two weeks, you're showered with gifts, if you're lucky enough you're awarded a little bonus to treat yourself with something nice, you get to spend time with family and you finally have time to run all the errands you've been meaning to do for the past 12 months. If only every month was like December. Here's wishing 2015 can be as stress-free as these last few days of 2014.

Shop this look: hat from Free People (on sale!), coat from Pendleton - old, but similar here, jeans from Top Shop, shoes from Bloomingdales - sold out, but similar here, backpack from Rebecca Minkoff, coffee from Cafe Grumpy.

Everything Etsy Gift Guide

I should have thought of this earlier, but next year is going to be my Everything etsy Christmas. The site seriously has the best gifts ever. Here are a few things I'm completely obsessing over: this adorable bowl - I can picture my Cheerios in it now; this hand-dyed tote, which is perfect for work or the gym; this beaded plant hanger, which I want to figure out how to make - remember when I made this?!; this fun little tray made by my friends Joy + Noelle; this dainty gold ring and this perfect dish to keep it safe; and this gorgeous leather wallet.

Happy shopping. I hope you have a few hours to kill because you're gonna need it!

Pop of Pink

I'm back in a sweatshirt - no surprise here. But this one is special because I bought it at the hippest store in Pittsburgh. The minute I walked in Mid-Atlantic Mercantile, it was like I found my home. I hope to have a boutique just like it one day - fingers crossed!

And can we talk about this cute Rebecca Minkoff crossbody for a second? We can thank my cousin Grace for spotting it at the outlets in Livermore, CA.  If you live in the SF-area, you must check out the handbag selection at Saks OFF 5TH. I couldn't find online, but this one is just as cute.

Holiday Party Sparkle

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 56 / 7

It's holiday party season! Typically, I'll shop for something glittery to wear for occasions like this, but this year, I think I want to go for a more minimal, monochromatic look and accessorize with some sparkle. These ear jackets and cuffs are beyond cute and I'm all about hair accessories lately. Number two is my fave - you must check it out! And of course,  you can never go wrong with a statement bracelet like this one above.

Happy holiday partying! Don't drink too much.
