Spring Denim and Stress-Free Living

Finally, it's Friday! This week has been ridiculously busy and involved LOTS of lists. The only way I can make it through a work day without my head popping off is with my detailed To Do lists. First, I make boxes to the left of the task, then I highlight things I MUST get done that day and finally, I number those items in order of importance. The greatest accomplishment is to check those boxes and if I started something, but can't finish, I make a dash. I highly recommend this approach.

Needless to say, I took today off. I literally wouldn't be able to do my job successfully, be the best wife and take care of my health without days like this - especially in New York City. This year marks ten years living here and every day I feel like I'm moving faster than the day before. I don't know if this is normal, but it's freaking me out a little and the fact that I've adapted to this lifestyle is really mind-blowing. So today, I'm going to slow down, enjoy Spring and shut my brain off.

Have a good weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all my mamas!

Crops and Camo

I don’t own a Céline pouch or Prada shoes, but that doesn’t mean a girl can’t pretend! Introducing my new style posts! I’m gonna go all Roger Rabbit on you and mix my real wardrobe with illustrations of pieces I’m dreaming about. For example, this stunning Valentino Rockstud tote. In my world, nothing makes more sense together than bright red and camo. Do you agree? And we all know that crop tops aren’t going anywhere, so get with it.
